SBAM Member Benefit:
Free Cybersecurity Assessment

Prove to your clients, partners, and team that you take their data security seriously.

We help SBAM members understand their cybersecurity posture in 30 minutes or less. A cyber professional from SensCy can walk you through your organization’s cyberhealth via a brief assessment, or you can take our self-guided assessment (link below). The evaluation gives business leaders a tangible measure of their cyberhealth, called a SensCy Score. Like a credit score, your organization should aim for a SensCy Score of 800 or above.

The SensCy team leveraged the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) framework to develop our proprietary cybersecurity assessment. In just under 40 questions and under 30 minutes, the evaluation analyzes over 100 cybersecurity data points to provide you insight into your organization’s cyber practices.

  • Free cybersecurity assessment in under 30 minutes
  • No preparation required
  • Receive your organization’s SensCy Score™ and personalized one-page cyberhealth report

Through our partnership with SBAM, we offer Michigan business leaders a no-cost opportunity to understand their organization’s exposure to the most common cyber threats, which include:

  • Employees with poor cyber practices (e.g. they click on phishing emails, use weak passwords, and save or transmit sensitive data in unsecured locations)
  • Inadequate cybersecurity policies
  • Outdated or unpatched systems
  • Malware downloads
  • Exposure to Ransomware
  • Lack of preparation for cyberattack (i.e. lack of cyber incident response plan)

The SensCy Score:
like a credit score for your cyberhealth

You don’t need to be a cybersecurity expert to understand your SensCy Score. Measured on a 1000-point scale, the SensCy Score is a benchmark for your organization’s cybersecurity readiness. It provides a simple and tangible metric that enables you to understand your organization’s cyber risks and health. You should strive for a SensCy Score of 800 or above, like a healthy credit score.

Factors that affect your score:

  • Cybersecurity policies in place
  • Cybersecurity awareness among employees
  • Implementation of appropriate cybersecurity safeguards to protect your digital assets
  • Ability to detect and respond to potential cyber incidents
  • Ability to restore normal operations after a cyberattack

How much does the SensCy Score™ assessment cost?

The assessment is free, with no obligation to buy our services. It is the essential first step we take to help small and medium-sized organizations become aware of their unique cyber risks and the protections necessary to mitigate them. The evaluation helps busy small business leaders understand their organization’s cybersecurity posture and demystifies the overcomplicated world of cybersecurity.

Approximately 30% of organizations that have received their free cybersecurity evaluation have chosen to continue working with us to improve their cyberhealth and reduce risk to their business operations.

How long does it take? Do I need to prepare anything for the evaluation?

The evaluation usually takes less than 30 minutes, and you don’t need to prepare or provide any materials in advance. Our personalized consultation approach ensures that we communicate with you thoroughly to cover all aspects of your organization’s cybersecurity. By the end of the 30-minute assessment, you’ll have a clear understanding of your organization’s cybersecurity posture.

What do I get at the end of the evaluation?

In addition to your organization’s SensCy Score, we will provide you with a one-page report. This report highlights your score, outlines the key findings of the evaluation, and includes applicable recommendations to strengthen your cybersecurity defenses. Our goal is to empower you with actionable insights that drive meaningful improvements in your security posture.
