Rick Snyder

Rick Snyder served two terms as Governor of Michigan from 2011-2018. He led an economically depressed bottom 10 state to top-10 status in eight years. Michigan became a national and regional leader in private sector job creation and increases in per capita income. He was responsible for restructuring Detroit, which was critical to enabling its great comeback. Multiple other major economic, educational, infrastructure, cybersecurity and quality of life programs were implemented during tenure.
Rick also founded two $100 million venture capital investment firms – Avalon Investments and Ardesta. Successful exits included Health Media, HandiLab and Esperion.
Snyder previously served as chairman and president of Gateway which was a leading PC company. During his six years working at Gateway, it grew from 600 to 13,000 employees and $600mm to $6 billion in revenue.
His career began at Coopers & Lybrand where he rose to partner in six years where he did tax and mergers and acquisitions services.
He has been actively involved in many non-profits, including service as the first chair of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Ann Arbor Spark.

Bhushan Kulkarni is a serial entrepreneur who has started multiple companies over the past 30 years. Currently, he is CEO of two Ann Arbor area companies – GDI Infotech and InfoReady Corporation. Both companies have been recognized as America’s fastest growing privately held companies by Inc Magazine for several years. Bhushan has expertise in organizing, launching and funding technology companies, and scaling them up consistently over a period of time. His companies have maintained high client and employee retention over the years and have been recognized for Best HR Practices.
GDI Infotech is a full-service talent matchmaking company helping clients build outstanding technology teams through their 360-degree matchmaking methodology. GDI caters to several sectors that include higher-ed, banking, insurance, government and retail industries, to name a few.
InfoReady is a SaaS software company managing workflow around application, review and routing processes for 200 research organizations in higher-ed, pharma and other corporate sectors around the globe. InfoReady’s software platform is innovative, cloud-based, simple to configure, and easy to use.
Bhushan has expertise in building solutions for solving business problems for information management, as well as executive-level skills in strategic visioning and team building. He is a recipient of several awards and recognitions. He has been named E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year, Crain’s American Dreamer, Business Person of the Year, and 40 Under 40 to name a few.
Bhushan is involved in community leadership and strongly believes in giving back to his community. He is involved in several non-profit organizations and is currently serving on the boards of Michigan Founders Fund, Saginaw Valley State University and Washtenaw Community College Foundation.

Dave served 26 years with the Michigan State Police (MSP), where he was the commanding officer of the Michigan Cyber Command Center and the Michigan Intelligence Operations Center. Dave retired from the MSP as an enlisted Captain and the Director of Technology.
Dave Kelly has held government leadership positions in cyber command, threat intelligence, digital forensics, cyber response, & Security Operations Centers (SOC). Dave has led teams responsible for the integration, consolidation, & dissemination of cyber data for critical infrastructure defense & emergency preparedness, helped create the State of Michigan’s first Cyber Incident Response Plan, led the Authority to Operate (ATO) security audit program for software deployments, and was a recipient of the National StateScoop Cybersecurity Leadership Award.
Since retiring from the MSP, Dave has served as a VP of Solutions & Strategy and as a Chief Solutions Officer for two major software companies. In these roles, Dave led projects that applied machine learning and Artificial Intelligence to cyber data to empower SOC analysts and threat incident response while informing Zero Trust Architecture.
Dave has been a keynote speaker, expert panelist, and subject matter expert for diverse government audiences and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

David Behen has held executive leadership roles in the private and public sector for over 20 years. In these roles, he has led award-winning information technology (IT) functions across the enterprise, aligning technology with the company’s business objectives. Behen has been named in the CIO 100 five times, both in the public and private sectors.
He spent over six years as a cabinet member for Governor Rick Snyder as the Director of the Department of Technology, Management and Budget, and Chief Information Officer for the State of Michigan. There, he led a department that employed 2,800 associates with an annual operating budget of $1.4 billion. Under Behen’s direction, Michigan established itself as the national leader in the IT and cybersecurity arena.
Behen co-founded a software company, InfoReady, and served as a vice president and CIO of its parent company.
Behen holds several board and committee positions in professional and technology organizations. He frequently serves as a keynote speaker, expert panelist, and moderator for national and international audiences providing expertise on information technology, cybersecurity, data management and leadership.

Raj Patel’s career started in cybersecurity 25 years ago, when firewalls were the only protection and passwords couldn’t be more than five characters. Back then, cybersecurity was an emerging need; it’s a critical area of focus for all businesses today. Raj was instrumental in the evolution of cyber practices and solutions to manage the ever-changing threats. He has successfully advised numerous organizations about how to strengthen their cyber capabilities—with the focus on people, process, and technology.
For the last 20 years, Raj was a partner and practice leader of Plante Moran’s cybersecurity consulting practice. He joined the firm in 2002 to build the practice from the ground up. Under his leadership, the team grew to nearly 100 professionals, serving large and small clients in both the private and public sector. Through his vast knowledge and highly sought-after cybersecurity expertise, Raj cultivated a strong reputation for trust and value in southeastern Michigan.
Crain’s Detroit Business recognized Raj as a “40 Under 40” recipient in 2009 and an “American Dreamers” award winner in 2007 for his professional accomplishments. He is often quoted in national and regional publications and recently was featured in a cover story for CIO magazine discussing the importance of cybersecurity in the remote work environment. Raj’s articles have been published in various publications including Corporate Board Member, Chief Executive, CFO, and on MarketWatch. He also wrote cyber blogs for Crain’s Detroit Business.

While working at SensCy, Evan has taken on many duties such as the implementation, management, and maintenance of computer systems.

Erwan Mahoudo is a Cyber Coordinator at SensCy. He graduated from American University in Washington with an MA in International Affairs focusing on Security and Cyber Security. Erwan enjoys spending time with his fiancée and friends during his free time, and he is a big Washington Capitals fan.

After working for over five years as a Clinical Scientist in the healthcare technology industry, Sarah decided to make a career change and pursue her passion for cybersecurity. As a Cyber Advocate at SensCy, she uses her technical expertise to help clients improve their cyber hygiene. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Oakland University, as well as a Cybersecurity Professional Certification from the University of Michigan College of Engineering. In her free time, Sarah enjoys playing the guitar, singing, exercising, spending time with her two dogs, and researching the latest cyber threats impacting small businesses.

Reagan White serves as SensCy’s Marketing Coordinator. She is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, where she studied Political Science and supported the University’s Center for Entrepreneurship as an Instructional Aide. Her previous roles at forward-thinking tech companies such as TikTok provided her with experience using business intelligence tools and developing marketing strategy.
