In today’s SensCy Cyber Brief, your SensCy team reviewed Adobe latest release of security updates. We recommend installing those updates immediately if you are using Adobe products.

In a bulletin released Tuesday July 11, 2023, Adobe issued a new update addressing over 15 vulnerabilities impacting a wide range of software across the Adobe suite of products. This includes InDesign and ColdFusion.

“These updates resolve critical and important vulnerabilities that could lead to arbitrary code execution and security feature bypass” Adobe said in a separate advisory. They also called for special attention to CVE-2023-29300, a deserialization of untrusted data bug with a CVSS severity score of 9.8 out of 10.

Here’s how to update your InDesign:

  1. Open the InDesign
  2. Click Help
  3. Click Update

Here is how to update ColdFusion for the 2018, 2021, and 2023 versions.

SensCy highly recommends turning on the Automatic Update on Adobe products.
