Adobe Update Vulnerability

In today’s SensCy Cyber Brief, your SensCy team reviewed Adobe latest release of security updates. We recommend installing those updates immediately if you are using Adobe products.

In a bulletin released Tuesday August 11, 2023, Adobe issued a new update addressing over 30 vulnerabilities impacting a wide range of software across the Adobe suite of products. This includes Acrobat and Reader software for both Windows and macOS.

“Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution, privilege escalation and arbitrary file system read” Adobe said in a separate advisory.

Affected software include: Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC, Acrobat 2020 and Acrobat Reader 2020.
