Adobe Update Vulnerability

In today’s SensCy Cyber Brief, your SensCy team reviewed Adobe latest release of security updates. We recommend installing those updates immediately if you are using Adobe products.

In a bulletin released Tuesday June 14, 2023, Adobe issued a new update addressing over 18 vulnerabilities impacting a wide range of software across the Adobe suite of products. This includes Adobe Experience Manager, Commerce, Animate, and Substance 3D Designer.

“These updates resolve vulnerabilities rated important and moderate.  Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could result in arbitrary code execution and security feature bypass,” Adobe said in a separate advisory.

Here’s how to update your Adobe apps if you use Creative Cloud:

  1. Open the Creative Cloud app
  2. Click Updates
  3. Click Update all

Here’s how to update Adobe Reader without Creative Cloud:

  1. Open Adobe Reader
  2. Click on Help
  3. Note your product version
  4. Go to the Adobe Reader Downloads page
  5. If a newer version is available, click to download and install
