With 26 years of service in the Michigan State Police, Dave Kelly retired as Captain and Director of Technology after leading the Michigan Cyber Command Center and the Michigan Intelligence Operations Center. With extensive experience in cyber command, threat intelligence, digital forensics, and Security Operations Centers, he helped develop Michigan’s first Cyber Incident Response Plan, directed statewide security audits, and received the National StateScoop Cybersecurity Leadership Award. Following his public service, Dave held executive roles in the software industry, where he applied machine learning and AI to strengthen SOC operations and Zero Trust Architecture. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Dave is also a recognized keynote speaker, panelist, and subject matter expert for government and industry audiences.

A transformative leader, cybersecurity expert, and international speaker, Dr. David A. Schippers brings over 30 years of experience at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cyber risk, and education reform. As Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at Walsh College, he has redefined academic strategy by embedding AI and machine learning into curriculum, research, and global partnerships, doubling doctoral enrollment and pioneering AI-driven research and operations. A licensed private investigator and certified digital forensics examiner, his scholarship on digital image authentication advanced evidentiary integrity for law enforcement, while his work with the U.S. Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center and National Defense Industry Association shaped national cybersecurity evaluation frameworks. Dr. Schippers continues to advise on AI governance, cyber-education policy, and autonomous system risks, while mentoring the next generation of leaders at the nexus of technology, defense, and education.

With 16 years of broad IT delivery experience, Mayank Batra is a seasoned leader in translating customer vision into tangible, scalable solutions. As head of IT and Delivery at Youngsoft, he also founded and directs the company’s AI practice, driving strategic innovation and operational excellence through the power of artificial intelligence.
