Apple Zero-Day Vulnerability Sept 13
In today’s SensCy Cyber Alert, your SensCy team urges Apple product users to install the new updates immediately. The new updates were released by Apple to address SEVEN high-severity zero-day vulnerabilities currently exploited by hackers. The update is currently available for iPhone, iPad, and macOS. Patches are available on iOS 15.7, iPadOS 15.7 iOS.16, and macOS Monterey 12.6.
What is a zero-day vulnerability?
In cybersecurity, a zero-day vulnerability refers to a vulnerability in a system or device that has been disclosed but not yet patched. The vulnerability was discovered before developers and security researchers were aware of it and could provide a patch/update.
Why you should install iOS 16 on your iPhone
Apple is bringing extra security settings to their new iOS.16 update with the introduction of two new features. Lockdown Mode to protect your device against spyware and zero-click attacks, and Rapid Security Response, a feature that possible to install security fixes on iOS devices without a full operating system update.
How to check for new updates:

On your iPhone/iPad, go to the Settings App, scroll down to General, Click Software Update, Turn on Automatic Updates, and Download iOS 16
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Software Update.
To automatically install macOS updates, select “Automatically keep my Mac up to date,” choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Software Update.
